Carefully selected high grade leathers for the uppers and sole are combined by fully stitching them together. This stitched sole ensures the quality of their signature REDELL or GOODYEAR welt construction.

REDELL CONSTRUCTION
Redell construction is an innovative development in stitched sole manufacturing. Since 1962, the Redell construction technique has been used by leading top end shoemakers throughout Italy and Spain.
Very high quality materials are required to make this construction.
The soles are double stitched. The first line of stitching combining the moccasin lining inside the shoe, and the second line of stitching connects the outer sole welt, leather and lining together.
What this construction creates is a durable shoe that is flexible and comfortable, straight out of the box, without losing the finer details of elegance.
Because of this unique construction, shoes do not have to be 'worn in' like other types of sole production processes.
At an early stage, LSTONY adopted and perfected this type of sole manufacturing as an integral part of their core shoe range design. Other better end Spanish manufacturers are now following in their footsteps. The advantage of having the sole of a shoe fully stitched to the upper are clearly an advantage compared to the cheaper glue on construction method.
